Why I'm standing

Our community board has done a great job in dealing with our communities issues and needs, but there is always room for improvement. I want to add a younger perspective to the community board and raise engagement and interest in local issues with the younger generations. I want to be engaged in our issues and help provide solutions where possible.

About me

I co-own 2 businesses and actively manage a third. They are in manufacturing, recycling and engineering. I have served my country in the Army Reserve and have been involved with many Civil Defence events across the country. I have also been an urban bus driver. I am passionate about our area and want to use my knowledge and experience to help the community and make a better future for us all.

My priorities
  1. Engage with the community and understand what issues are important to us. Connect with our council.
  2. Work to develop a close relationship with council and staff to enable successful outcomes for us.
  3. Push for my recycling, public transport and road improvement ideas. Engage as much as possible.
