The Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Christchurch City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of nine members: six members elected by voters, including two members from your area, and three councillors from the Christchurch City council.   • I do not support housing intensification in neighbourhoods that are a significant distance from the centre city.

    Community board has very little influence over these policies at council other than in an advocacy role.
