Why I'm standing

I grew up in the Waimakariri District and I have chosen to stay and live here with my wife and two young children. I am running for election because I believe that our district needs greater representation for families and young people. We need to start moving forward with better decision making on housing and climate issues for future generations.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I grew up in this district. I went to school in Rangiora, and then studied at the University of Canterbury. I run my own small business, and I understand the needs of the people in our community.

My priorities
  1. Maintain and improve public facilities so that people can enjoy them safely.
  2. Improve cycling and walking options within the district to reduce the need for cars on short trips.
  3. Improve public transport within the district and in and out of Christchurch.
