Democracy & Equality

Why I'm standing

Quite simply to promote democracy, equality and private enterprise in a sustainable economic, environmental and community minded sense. To remove red tape where it is strangling local businesses. To promote and incentivise sports developments, business developments, schooling developments... bring positiveness to a united community. Avoid over reaches of regulation and rules that cause our community to suffer. To respect our people, to consult with them on opportunities and solutions to improving core services.

About me

Strong business background. Tertiary education in accounting, marketing and economics. A person who knows how to run a successful large business. A no nonsense approach to solution solving and to making best with the resources available. If it's not right, then fix it. Not someone who will hold back when something is so obviously wrong. I'm pro democracy, pro private enterprise, pro community success and unity. Proud to be a Kiwi.

My priorities
  1. Retain and incentivise private enterprise support in our community.
  2. To push back on central government over-reaches, such things as the proposed Three Waters to be retained
  3. To improve the cost effectiveness of providing core services to 66,000 people in this district.
