Why I'm standing

I love the Wainuiomata community and want to ensure its voice is heard at the council table. We are the second biggest suburb in the city, representing nearly 20% of our population. We need to be given priority and continued improvements.

About me

I understand how the council works and won't make ridiculous promises. I know what I can and can't achieve in the board position. I will ensure I listen to Wainuiomata and make their voice heard through the board.

My priorities
  1. Question council officials on council staff turnover and poor results in staff surveys.
  2. Native forest pest control for the surrounding hills of Wainuiomata, eg deer and goats.
  3. Advocate for improvement of our town centre and attract businesses to Wainuiomata.
