The Waipuna Halswell-Hornby-Riccarton Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Christchurch City Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of nine members: six members elected by voters, including two members from your area, and three councillors from the Christchurch City council. When the overall satisfaction with the council in 2021-2022 sits at 42%, it's clear our council is not responding to the needs of our community. I am ready to get stuck in, show up, work for you and be vocal in bringing solutions, not problems.

About me

I have the ability to communicate to our community on matters effecting them and want to use that voice to help grow local engagement.

My priorities
  1. Protect local democracy and enhance local decision making.
  2. Sensibly manage housing density and transport issues for Riccarton.
  3. Get the basics right (roads, footpaths, parks, etc).
