Why I'm standing

I have been disappointed with the leadership shown in the last period and feel that I have the skillset to create a positive working council team. I believe we live in an amazing district and by working together as one we can make it even better.

About me

I have now lived in this area for the last 27 years and I am passionate about this area and its people. From my previous role in policing, I have created many different working networks with numerous positive people. I wish to utilise this knowledge and skillset for the betterment of our community, by placing our community first.

My priorities
  1. Positive leadership, with a can-do attitude to revitalise our communities.
  2. Further development of youth programs to give our rangatahi maximum opportunity to succeed.
  3. Strong community consultation on the concept plans to spend the Three Waters reform money.
