Woodend-Sefton Community Board

The Woodend-Sefton Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Waimakariri District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of five members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.     Support and advocate for better signage and public awareness of our environmental assets, in particular Tūhaitara Coastal Park.

  • Establish a wider rates based kerb side rubbish and recycling bin collections.

  • Provide the very best quality of water possible to the residents of Waimakariri.
