Why I'm standing
We are better off when we stick together. That's how we've gotten through many challenges in recent years. I am in politics because I believe that by working together and looking after one another, we are all better off. We have big challenges like the cost of living, child poverty, and climate change. The way to make progress is to get involved in politics and work collectively to make this a better place for all.
About me
Mt Roskill is my home of over 20 years, my kids go to our local schools, and I've served as MP, Local Board member, and in many voluntary roles to try and give back. I love this community for its diversity, for the way in which people help each other out, and for its stunning maunga and coast. My goal is to ensure that every person here is able to reach their full potential.
My priorities
- Support local families with the cost of living with practical policies to help household budgets.
- Ensure that local people feel safe and secure through tackling the causes of crime.
- Build the high quality, linked up public transport system that Auckland desperately needs.
