Why I'm standing

New Zealand needs positive change in parliament. After the events of the last three years I feel obligated to leave the comfort zone of my dental practice and be an active participant in making this happen. I want my children to recognise New Zealand as the best place to live and raise their families. Restoring the social fabric of New Zealand and uniting the population should be our priority. All kiwis should be treated equally.

About me

Over 32 years my career has taught me to be a careful listener and information gatherer. As a critical thinker I am able to evaluate information and provide solutions. I possess the positive attributes of common sense and being ethical and honest. Having a strong moral compass I have a clear sense of right and wrong. I will advocate for the Napier electorate to make it a place people want to live in and visit.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for the victims of the cyclone. Recovery, rebuild, homes and businesses and future resilience.
  2. Ensure tougher consequences for crime with a special focus on gangs and youth offenders for safer communities.
  3. Advocate for better health services. Robust infrastructure that ensures full cover of the electorate.
