Why I'm standing

I believe that only the Green Party is serious about the future humankind faces. Greens understand the full implications of Climate Change - resource depletion, loss of biodiversity, ocean acidification etc., and are prepared to implement the policies needed to mitigate this impending catastrophe.

About me

I am prepared to stand outside the mainstream. I did this as an activist for a nuclear-free NZ in the 1980s and will do so again to support Green Party policies.

My priorities
  1. Improve public transport, including ferries across the Waitemata harbour.
  2. Reduce car use by implementing car-less days, congestion-charging and increased parking charges.
  3. Increase tree-planting throughout the North Shore to create cool, shady spaces for future heat waves.
