Why I'm standing
I'm motivated by people and service. This is too important to stay on the sideline. I care about New Zealand and the country my kids are growing up in. I'm concerned about the direction we are heading in and I want to be part of the strong National Party team who can get New Zealand back on track. We need a strong local MP who will turn up, be active and work hard for us all.
About me
I have a consistent track record of turning up, working hard, and serving our community. Over 22 years military service as well as running a national charity and various community groups gives me the skills and experience we need in an effective local MP. I turn up, I work hard, I listen well, and I advocate strongly. That's the change we need locally.
My priorities
- Tackle the cost of living and rising retail crime.
- Deliver more quality health services closer to home, like chemo, minor surgery, and access to GPs.
- Build the Ōtaki to North of Levin Expressway with construction starting in the first term.
