Why I'm standing
I'm a proud New Zealander and it upsets me to see the current division within our society. Crime and cost of living are making life difficult for law-abiding and hard-working Kiwis. I am humbled to have served 17 years as an Army officer and am motivated to serve my country and Kiwis – not politicians. ACT is a principles-aligned party, who will provide real and effective change for New Zealand and all Kiwis.
About me
As a candidate for ACT, you can best support me by providing your party vote to ACT. I am not after your electorate vote. I have served New Zealand my adult life and have spent a large proportion of this living in Selwyn. My role is to ensure central Government produces policies that benefit all New Zealanders – including the Selwyn population. This includes local defence personnel by increasing military expenditure to 2% GDP.
My priorities
- Celebrate the success of our agricultural sector and removing red tape to increase productivity.
- Increase defence expenditure to provide fair pay, conditions and infrastructure for NZDF personnel.
- Ensure our streets are safe by tackling crime, and putting victims rights ahead of perpetrators.
