Why I'm standing

As an entrepreneur who has spent a decade abroad proudly fostering markets for our exports, returning home revealed a stark contrast between the pristine image we project globally and the reality at home. Seeing the deteriorating state of our precious waters, unsustainable development practices and growing inequality has driven me to support our endeavour for a genuinely clean and green future where the environment thrives, and everyone has enough to live with dignity.

About me

I have a broad range of work and personal experiences in different countries and across many cultures. I take a pragmatic and collaborative approach to problem solving. I have learnt a number of different languages and believe that once you spend time listening to people and understanding their needs, no matter how different their background we can always find a way to achieve common goals.

My priorities
  1. Build more affordable homes. We can't have a prosperous future without everyone in a warm, dry home.
  2. Advocate for a train connecting Tauranga to Auckland. We need convenient, green transport options.
  3. Implement a tax free threshold of $10,000 and tax cuts for everyone earning under $125,000.
