Albany Ward
The Auckland Council makes strategic decisions for Auckland on public transport, urban planning, environmental protection and other big issues. The council provides funding to local boards to provide public services in their areas, and manages council-controlled organisations which provide infrastructure, such as public transport, water and sewerage. The councillors and mayor make up the governing body, which shares governance of Auckland Council with the 21 local boards. The governing body is made up of 20 councillors plus the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in Auckland). two councillors will be elected from your ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. Why I'm standing

I'm running for Albany Ward Councillor to ensure our community thrives. As a long-time East Coast Bays resident with two daughters, I've seen Albany's growth and challenges like infrastructure strain and rising costs. My 12 years in government and volunteer role with Life Education North Shore drive me to deliver transparent leadership. I'll represent diverse voices, work with Fix Auckland and make Albany a vibrant, sustainable place for families and businesses.

About me

I will be a strong Albany Ward Councillor, bringing dedication, experience and community ties. As an East Coast Bays resident with two daughters, I know our needs. My 12 years of experience in government, combined with my background as a trained accountant, ensure fiscal responsibility and collaboration. As a Life Education North Shore trustee, I'm passionate about youth and well-being. My commitment to transparent, inclusive leadership drives me to work for a thriving Albany Ward.
