Why I'm standing

I am running for election because, as a mum, I want to ensure the best community for my children and their future. I care deeply about our area and believe it is important to address challenges like growth and environmental protection. I am committed to bringing a practical, honest voice to council, promoting transparency, responsible spending and ensuring everyone in our community is heard. I believe together we can build a sustainable and inclusive future for all.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I am deeply connected to our community as a local resident, parent and educator. I have governance experience and currently volunteer locally, serving also as a Justice of the Peace. Through many community touchpoints, I listen to diverse voices and value transparency and accountability. I have a practical, honest approach that focuses on finding common ground and delivering meaningful outcomes that benefit all residents.

My priorities
  1. Maintain the weekly rubbish collection service to ensure consistent and reliable waste disposal.
  2. Ensure council spending is controlled and managed responsibly to deliver value for the community.
  3. Hold Auckland Transport accountable for maintaining roads to ensure they are safe and well-kept.
