Why I'm standing

I believe in stopping racism and bullying on our streets, workplaces and in governance. The poor, weak and vulnerable are not as protected as they can be. Social justice and economic prosperity go hand in hand. We need to get our social values and our standards right to improve our economic prosperity. It starts with accepting that we can have a new norm where colour is no longer relevant but intentions are.

About me

I have grown up in West Auckland since I was a baby. Worked as a senior government official representing NZ in different NZ embassies and ministries training immigration officials and large industry groups. I have qualifications in politics, education and business. Worked on different NZ Tennis Boards. Compassionate and capable. I stand for leadership that is decisive, honest and rational. I am a fighter for injustices and I am fair in my decision-making process.

My priorities
  1. Toughen laws for those that disregard the law over and over again to create safer communities.
  2. Provide affordable housing so no person is without a roof over their head.
  3. Improve healthcare and transport by focusing on cost, reliability and access.
