Why I'm standing

I'm standing for Regional Council because I care passionately about our regional community, economy and environment.

About me

It is vital for an Eastern Bay Regional Councillor to understand rural issues, as most of the region is 'rural'. I have worked for over 30 years in local and central government, and in private business, across the rural research, public relations, horticulture, farming and forestry industries.

My priorities
  1. Protect and enhance clean water, fresh air and healthy land so communities and economy prosper.
  2. Increase collaborative alliances, incentives and community action, with fewer rules and penalties.
  3. Push back on central government solutions and strengthen local voices, leadership and solutions.
