Why I'm standing

I have been a resident of Christchurch for 18 years, over that time I have become more interested in politics and what they can achieve. I believe now is the time for council to make bold changes that will have greater positive impacts on the city for years to come.

About me

I believe the council needs to have greater transparency and empathy toward the community in its day to day running, and that's what I aim to bring to the table. A council that is seen to listen to its community is one that will be much more effective at helping those people.

My priorities
  1. Bring back the free yellow shuttle service.
  2. Increase and diversify emergency housing stock.
  3. Bring in commuter rail for large events and lay out the groundwork for making it a permanent thing.
