Why I'm standing

I believe residents deserve a strong, independent and experienced voice around the council table and fresh energy and new ideas. I believe I can deliver that. I believe rates are too high and cannot keep increasing, and together with a majority of councillors who are focused on the same thing, I can deliver that too.

About me

I am experienced, having been a city councillor from 2013 to 2016 and a community board member for 12 years. I know my city and my community. I have tenacity and focus in everything I do. I believe now more than ever we need focus. I speak plainly and do not play games. If there is a better way to get something done, I will raise it. I am professional, driven and get huge satisfaction from achieving things for people.

My priorities
  1. Get and keep rates down.
  2. Sort out congestion and poor traffic flow in the city.
  3. Plant more trees and ensure clear and regular visibility of the progress being made.
