Why I'm standing

I am running for election in Papanui because I love the area and the city, and we need leadership that is proven, collaborative, and committed to a positive vision.

About me

I know this community and I'm good at governance. I've been deputy chair of our Community Board for six years, and have run Think Papanui since 2016. I'm a member of the Institute of Directors and co-chaired an LGNZ advisory committee. I've been a board member and chair of local and national community organisations. I'm connected and committed to our local Papanui community, and have the skills and experience to be an effective city councillor.

My priorities
  1. Ensure strategic assets remain in public ownership, delivering dividends to the council.
  2. Support an effective and safe transport system to mitigate the impact of the city's growth.
  3. Increase community participation in Community Board and council decision-making.
