Why I'm standing

We are in the most critical period for councils since 1989. My experience can help navigate the next three years.

About me

In my last nine years at council I have tried to maintain a personal policy of forming good relationships with all councillors, irrespective of their political stance. Being able to communicate with all and stand your own ground is hard.

My priorities
  1. Address nitrate spikes as a concern especially in Glenavy.
  2. Secure funding for wilding conifers and wallabies.
  3. Increase river resilience to 1:200 year flood peaks.
