Why I'm standing

I have a passion for community and making a positive difference. I want to bring fresh ideas, listen to people’s needs and work collaboratively to move from being reactive to proactive and to improve local services, infrastructure and quality of life. I believe in transparency, accountability and creating opportunities that benefit everyone. I believe it is now time for a youthful, diverse voice around the council table to focus on the future as a district.

About me

I’m deeply committed to serving the community with integrity, transparency and collaboration. I have experience working in local government, combined with my role as deputy chair of the Grey District Youth Trust, which gives me a clear understanding of the district’s challenges and opportunities. I am an active listener who values diverse voices and aims to be an accessible, responsive representative. I am dedicated to fostering inclusivity and long-term solutions that benefit all residents.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise the sixty million dollar plus deferred Three Waters maintenance to ensure safe and reliable water services.
  2. Investigate West Coast councils’ amalgamation to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  3. Create a public spending dashboard showing costs, delays and progress to boost transparency.
