Why I'm standing

I'm standing for re-election because there's more to do and I've got loads more to give. It's been an absolute honour to represent and serve our community for the last six years. I've worked hard to champion and deliver for biodiversity, community funding partnerships, systems improvements, climate action and environmental education. With your vote, I'll work to protect your investment to date, press for further progress, and seek value-for-money outcomes for our community and environment.

About me

As a business owner and Mum, I value local decision making, community empowerment, and transparent, accountable leadership. I'm results focused, with professional experience in natural resource management and working collaboratively with businesses, community, iwi, and government. I bring a strong understanding of our natural world and how we relate to it, backed by tertiary qualifications across geography, planning and science. I'm a trained mediator and hearings commissioner who listens, and speaks up when it matters.

My priorities
  1. Enhance healthy environment, retain the gains and partner with and empower the community.
  2. Make infrastructure decisions to support communities, livelihoods and the environment.
  3. Demonstrate leadership through integrity, transparency, accountability, efficiency, effectiveness and value for money.
