Why I'm standing

As a 9-year Howick Board member, 17-year Justice of the Peace and founder of Botany and FlatBush Ethnic Association, I have a proven record of collaboration and community engagement. I've hosted cultural events, created community centres and supported young people to become community leaders. I advocated for affordable rates, encouraged business development and provided fitness opportunities. And I'm standing again with Kai Zeng to continue making Flat Bush and Howick Ward healthy and happy.

About me

As an 8-year Botany and FlatBush Ethnic Association volunteer, businessman and long-time resident, I bring deep knowledge of the area and local governance. I am fluent in three languages and enjoy empowering the diverse community, championing local voices and engaging with residents. Through regular events and interactive sessions, I gather feedback that informs local projects and priorities. My family have lived here for 25 years, driven to build healthy and happy communities together.

My priorities
  1. Follow up Flat Bush's first library, aquatic centre and community halls to completion.
  2. Back local workshops, markets, sports and cultural festivals.
  3. Expand CCTV, support neighbourhood patrols and help small businesses and seniors feel secure.
