Why I'm standing

I am standing for election because I care deeply about the wellbeing and future of our community. I have served on the Howick Local Board for many years, and I have seen both the challenges we face and the opportunities we can build on. I am motivated by a genuine commitment to listening to residents, representing their interests, and working collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes.

About me

I bring extensive governance experience, deep local connections and a proven record of service to our community. I have held leadership roles in community and health organisations. I am an active volunteer working closely with a range of community groups which has strengthened my understanding of local needs and priorities. I am committed to integrity, transparency and respectful engagement. I believe in making decisions that are fair, balanced and in the interests of all residents.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise core services, ensuring essential services are maintained and delivered to high standards.
  2. Manage intensification and growth so it is appropriate, sustainable and supported by infrastructure.
  3. Listen and advocate for the needs of residents, ensuring their voices are heard in all decision-making.
