Why I'm standing

I believe Hutt City needs to be thinking about the effects of climate change more seriously and how we are going to get through. I think we have an amazing city and with an inclusive, resilient and connected community I believe we have the strength to ensure everyone can thrive.

About me

As a disabled leader in our city, I have many community connections and understand it is often our diverse and disadvantaged community who is underrepresented at the council table. I will listen hard and amplify the voices of those who are quiet, shy or hard to hear.

My priorities
  1. Promote inclusive and connected communities so people can support each other in times of need.
  2. Create communication channels so people can have more participation in the prioritising of funding.
  3. Understand the needs of our diverse population better and how we can create a more supportive city.
