Why I'm standing

I am running for Central Ward because the Hutt needs action that delivers real value. I want to eradicate tagging and bring neglected and unused spaces back to life, support new business, create pop-ups and vibrant attractions. Riverlink will improve flood protection and transport, but it is also our chance to build an arts district with murals, lighting and public spaces that boost jobs, attract visitors and energise our city, all without adding unnecessary costs.

About me

I bring proven leadership, creative problem solving and the ability to deliver under pressure from decades in tourism and film. As a devoted family man, I understand the importance of safe, supportive communities. I am collaborative, approachable and committed to fairness and transparency. My deep community connection, built over 23 years in Alicetown, gives me insight into local needs. I listen, act and work with others to achieve results that put people and families first.

My priorities
  1. Fix the basics by upgrading water, roads and infrastructure including flood protection.
  2. Revitalise streets and turn empty spaces into pop-ups, art and vibrant local businesses.
  3. Maximise Riverlink by adding art, lighting and public spaces without extra cost to ratepayers.
