Why I'm standing

I'm local, and I know what matters here. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. Our long-term and annual plans already reflect community priorities. My role is to uphold that voice, not override it. With just three years to make an impact, we must act strategically, not hastily. I'm here to ensure local democracy prevails and that decisions are grounded and balanced for all. I'm one of us, working for all of us.

About me

I bring over 20 years of policy and planning experience, including work inside Kaipara District Council, so I understand how to get things done. I've chaired regional climate committees, managed environmental policy for iwi, and built strong relationships across councils and agencies. My deep local roots, practical business experience, and commitment to community development mean I can hit the ground running and deliver real results.

My priorities
  1. Strengthen climate resilience to protect communities through long-term planning and investment.
  2. Championship local voice and priorities during the Resource Management Act reform in regional planning.
  3. Safeguard local water quality and future water planning priorities ahead of CCO integration.
