Why I'm standing

Paraparaumu has been my family's home for over 55 years. Eight years ago, I returned to raise my children here, alongside my retired mother. As Chair of the Paraparaumu Community Board, I've seen the real challenges facing our district. I'm running for council because I believe our community deserves strong advocacy, open decision-making and leadership that listens. I want to ensure our voices shape council's future decisions, not get lost in them.

About me

I offer a strong mix of governance, business and leadership experience. I hold a Master's degree in Leadership and Sustainability, own a local business and have served as Chair of the Paraparaumu Community Board. I've proven I can lead, engage and listen to the community while working collaboratively. I bring accountability, sound judgement and a commitment to transparent decision-making that ensures council delivers real value and remains connected to the people it serves.

My priorities
  1. Keep rates affordable by focusing on core services and cutting waste.
  2. Strengthen community voice through early engagement and genuine consultation.
  3. Improve transparency so ratepayers clearly see how money is spent.
