Why I'm standing

I'm running for election because I care deeply about Katikati and want to help make sure our community stays safe, vibrant, and well-prepared for the future. I want to listen to people's concerns and work together to support practical solutions that improve our quality of life.

About me

I will make a good elected representative because I have called the Bay of Plenty home for over 40 years and truly understand the changes our community has faced. I'm deeply connected to Katikati and committed to listening to people's voices. With experience in community groups and a practical approach, I want to help guide positive, meaningful change that reflects what locals really need.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for more affordable and diverse housing options in Katikati to meet local needs.
  2. Strengthen key community buildings in Katikati for use as civil defence hubs during emergencies.
  3. Support community clean-up days to protect local streams, beaches and reserves.
