Why I'm standing

I am standing for councillor in the Morrinsville ward because as the population of young families continues to increase in the area, we need younger voices and fresher perspectives around the council table.

About me

I worked in the Communications Department at Matamata-Piako District Council for several years, so I understand how council works. But more importantly, I know how to explain and present things in a way that mean people are informed about the issues that impact on their community. We're raising our children and running our business here, so I'm fully invested in the town's future.

My priorities
  1. Speed up road safety delivery because we know what is needed but why do accidents need to happen first.
  2. Increase parking at the rec grounds and the centre of town.
  3. Keep Morrinsville affordable while making sure our infrastructure can accommodate the growth.
