Why I'm standing

I'm running to give back to Morrinsville, the community that has been my home for 25 years. After 35 years in the Police and years serving on school boards, community organisations and sports committees, I know the value of practical leadership. My motivation is simple: to ensure our council decisions reflect the needs of everyday people, keep our town safe, and create opportunities for our young people to thrive.

About me

I bring 35 years of public service in the Police, including 15 years working directly with youth and families in Morrinsville. I've also served on school boards, community organisations and sports committees, gaining strong governance experience. My strengths are listening, being approachable, and working with people to find practical solutions. I'm deeply connected to this community and committed to representing it with fairness, integrity and a genuine focus on people.

My priorities
  1. Support youth with opportunities in education, sport and training to build strong futures.
  2. Advocate for safer streets by working with Police and community groups to prevent crime.
  3. Protect and maintain parks and sports grounds for future generations.
