Why I'm standing

I am keen to help out Tamaki through tough times. I feel I can do that because of my business experience and ability to be innovative. I'm concerned that children, the elderly, and the dispossessed are losing out from the prolonged Tamaki regeneration and its lack of good management and proper attention by the local board. Similarly, I think our businesses have got the rough end of the stick.

About me

I have deep roots in Tamaki. I enjoyed its boom time when it was simpler for most because of the leadership of many of our returned soldiers. I see the re-generation as tough on locals and those who are moving in. I feel I owe it to this community to do the very best I can for it by challenging stupidity, waste and poor spending. I pledge to be completely loyal and trustworthy.

My priorities
  1. Put people first as a way for not only an individual to get ahead but the whole community.
  2. Shine a light on quicker and simpler progress for young and old, ensuring no one is left out.
  3. Ensure information, openness and accountability are priorities and expect the same of those I work with.
