Why I'm standing

I believe we live in a fantastic area, but that there is still more work to do to ensure the services provided by council fully meet the needs of our community. I've lived in and around Maungakiekie-Tāmaki ward for most of my life and seen it grow and change. Now I want to be able to contribute to making the future of this community even brighter for our people.

About me

As a mum, business owner, and former lawyer, I will bring strong advocacy, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to this role. I will lead with empathy, integrity, and fairness, bringing principled, people-focused leadership that listens, includes, and delivers for our community. Over my career, I've worked with Māori, councils, government departments, and businesses, building a deep understanding of local issues including planning, transport and infrastructure. I've also been a Panmure resident for 17 years.

My priorities
  1. Advocate for public spaces that are engaging, safe and inclusive, with a focus on town centres.
  2. Support activities and initiatives that restore and protect natural environments.
  3. Advocate for smart future-proofed suburb design to meet the changing needs of communities.
