Why I'm standing

I love Napier, it is my home where I am raising my family, running my business and involved in our community. I am running because I want to see our city looked after properly. I am approachable and make decisions for the right reasons, in the best interests of the people who call Napier home. I care deeply about leaving Napier in better shape for the next generation, not stagnant. But, timing is everything.

About me

I have served on Napier City Council since 2019 and am known for showing up, making good decisions and getting things done. I have a background in health and fitness that has kept me connected to people from all walks of life, and my work in the community has taught me the value of listening before deciding. I bring common sense, persistence and a genuine commitment to doing what is best for Napier and its people.

My priorities
  1. Prioritise stormwater upgrades and flood protection to safeguard homes and essential infrastructure.
  2. Keep rates affordable while delivering essential services and balancing moving forward as a city.
  3. Continue being available and listening to the community.
