Why I'm standing

I love living in Ngāruawāhia and it keeps me connected to my Waikato whakapapa. I'd like to be part of 'Experience Waikato' especially in readiness for February 2027 – MATATINI ki Hopuhopu.

About me

25+ generations our family have lived in and around the districts of Waikato. I bring local government and tribal governance skills along with innovative, design and event management experience from a strong administrative base background. I'd like to be part of building on the community board beautification plan with our communities for vibrant and embracing spaces for growing and visiting communities.

My priorities
  1. Understand the processes of the Ngāruawāhia Community Board and get to know my peers.
  2. Inform myself with the background of the last two trienniums, long-term plan and spatial plans.
  3. Check in with confirmed top priorities the community have identified as urgent issues.
