Ngāruawāhia Community Board

The Ngāruawāhia Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Waikato District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of eight members: six members elected by voters, and two members from the Waikato District Council.  This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I have lived here most of my life and feel I have a lot to contribute. My background is in communications and media. I care about what happens here in Ngaruawahia.

My priorities
  1. Reduce the cost to ratepayers.
  2. Reuse anything and everything to support the community.
  3. Recycle everything else.
