Tautoko the council's plan for "Local Water Done Well" to be done in-house for now and remain open to collaborating with neighbouring councils.
Advocate for the council to investigate biochar and bioprocessing for the wastewater infrastructure upgrade that may provide an income stream.
Enhance reduce, reuse and recycle facilities and opportunities in the rohe and support the right to repair and the Ōpōtiki Repair Café.
Advocate strongly for better support and staffing for dog control and horse control within town.
Ensure that zero waste continues to be the aspiration strived for through recycling efforts and further education on waste disposal.
Support all Three Waters policies and the direction held firmly over many years – our way works.
