Why I'm standing

I'm standing to represent the local voice. That means listening, backing local projects, and making sure people feel heard. This is a special part of the world. Let's keep it that way by putting local control at the heart of decision-making. I'll bring a steady, practical voice, one that's reflective of you and your concerns, and a deep respect for the land and its inhabitants.

About me

I will uphold and am committed to the democratic process. By the people, for the people. Democracy fell from 12.5% in 2014 to 6.6% in 2024, representing a 47.2% relative decline in the proportion of people living in full democracies over a decade, with significant erosion occurring within the last five years.

My priorities
  1. Empower people to speak up, make their voice heard and know their voice counts.
  2. Help people find consensus with one another and grow the community numbers.
  3. Return power to the people through empowerment, consensus and numbers, and restore democracy.
