Why I'm standing

I believe that an important part of being in a community is volunteering and one way to do that is to take a turn to represent and advocate for the views of the community. The power of advocacy still has a place in influencing the decisions made in Dunedin and it is important that those on the Peninsula are heard.

About me

I have spent a life marked by diverse roles spanning both public service and the private sector, with a focus on bridging the gaps between parties with different perspectives or expertise. The purpose has always been to help people engage meaningfully with challenging issues, ensuring clarity, transparency and mutual comprehension.

My priorities
  1. Maintain roads and footpaths for vehicles and pedestrians to encourage safe active transport.
  2. Protect native species and control predators to preserve biodiversity, culture and tourism.
  3. Establish a community-driven sustainability initiative similar to the Mārahau Pledge.
