Why I'm standing

I believe fresh perspectives are essential for a thriving and forward-thinking Kumeū – Huapai – Waimauku – Taupaki and Riverhead community. I observe that none of the existing women are standing again, and if we do not elect different voices, valuable perspectives could be lost. I think our community needs fresh ideas, practical leadership and diversity at the table to ensure everyone is represented.

About me

I would make the best representative because I live and breathe this community. I bring hands-on experience leading and being a part of local initiatives, as well as working alongside community on resilience projects that improve daily life. I understand the needs of whānau, schools and volunteers, and I work collaboratively to deliver results. I focus on future-proofing Rodney. I want a strong, connected and thriving community where everyone has opportunities and support to flourish.

My priorities
  1. Improve roads and congestion by improving traffic flow and safety across the region.
  2. Provide facilities for tamariki and rangatahi through council initiatives or private partnerships.
  3. Continue work with emergency networks in the preparedness space and future-proof waterways.
