Mayor of Selwyn

Why I'm standing
I'm standing because Selwyn deserves a real choice in this election. People are looking for change and for someone who brings a fresh perspective, not another councillor from the same system. I've run small businesses here, I've dealt with the same pressures as everyone else, and I want to carry that everyday experience into the role. For me, this is about service, not politics. It is about listening, learning and helping Selwyn thrive.

I'll make a good elected representative because I'm practical and I get things done. I've built and run small businesses here, and I know what it's like to face the same challenges as everyone else. I'm not a career politician. I listen, I work hard, and I'll bring that same attitude into council to make sure the community is properly represented.
My priorities
- Improve transparency so residents clearly see how decisions and spending are made.
- Develop better transport so people can reach jobs, schools and community life.
- Ensure affordability so rates and services remain fair for families and businesses.
