Why I'm standing

With a reduction in representation for the Tawera Malvern Ward, I want Malvern to have the best representation around the council table to ensure the voices of the rural communities are not lost. Someone who is in touch with the land, the people and the needs across all of the demographics. Someone who cares deeply for the people and is willing to advocate for their needs within council.

About me

Having vast experience in corporate business, grassroots initiatives and governance, I have specialised skill sets and proven experience in working in and contributing to good growth planning and decision making. I bring a level-headed approach to future planning with fresh ideas that have assisted the Malvern Community Board in bringing value to the communities and want to use those skills to assist the council to do things well for Malvern and Selwyn District.

My priorities
  1. Focus on making sure the needs of communities are listened to and not forgotten during growth.
  2. Ensure basic infrastructural needs are met at a high standard and are highly prioritised.
  3. Invest in technology improvements to ensure better engagement and opportunities for ratepayers.
