Why I'm standing

I am concerned over recent years we are facing many challenges. To address and remedy the challenges, we need a common sense approach and a knowledge of history, along with positive leadership.

About me

My experience in electronics, science and computers provide core competencies for the role of councillor. My personal qualities and appreciation of environment and outdoors fits perfectly with the farming and natural beauty of Southland.

My priorities
  1. Return to independence from central government and make decisions relevant to the ratepayers.
  2. Develop stronger community involvement and participation through open dialogue and debate.
  3. Reduce the rate burden for all ratepayers by prioritising expenditure and ensuring value for money.
