Why I'm standing

I was raised in the Tararua and now own and operate a business. As a younger person, I can see the need to support business owners and younger people, especially those who want to get involved in the decision-making table. I believe when council supports the people the community thrives. I want to run a campaign for everyone who wants to see a progressive and vibrant community and district.

About me

I have been running a local hospitality business for five years while having qualifications in business and experience in governance and policy. I have also been involved in community projects such as the restoration of the Regent Cinema and volunteering around the community while also advocating for things that matter to me. I am active within the Chamber of Commerce and have been behind campaign initiatives supporting local businesses.

My priorities
  1. Improve and support local urban and rural economic prosperity.
  2. Ensure cost efficiency as council needs to spend on things that residents use on a daily basis.
  3. Increase youth and diverse representation and be the voice for these communities.
