Why I'm standing

I want to give back to a community/district that has supported myself and my business. I believe that without change in our council, then our district and communities will fail to thrive over time. By listening to their concerns and bringing them to council, my hope is that collectively we can work together to ensure we have sustainability, growth, and community cohesiveness for all to succeed.

About me

I have worked with large, high turnover companies, local body entities, central government departments, and a local timber company. My experience has predominately been based in finance departments. One job required learning and listening to clients in order to write clauses to protect their business across numerous industries. Currently I'm self-employed in the allied health field where on occasion I donate my time and skills to various sectors of our community.

My priorities
  1. Review rating methods used to create fairness as part of the Long Term Plan review.
  2. Monitor infrastructure maintenance to ensure it is logical and meets the needs of the district.
