Why I'm standing

Tararua needs strong governance, disciplined financial management and open engagement so our communities can help shape decisions. That means clear systems, smarter use of every dollar and creative solutions like shared services to cut waste and deliver better value. Local government is heading into a period of significant change, and we must be ready to adapt. By doing things differently and working together, we can restore trust, stay affordable and build a confident, future-focused district.

About me

I lead with curiosity, a practical mindset, and a strategic, hard-working approach. I'm committed to asking the tough questions, making clear decisions, and following through on what matters most for our communities. I understand the challenges people face every day, and I'm driven to deliver results that are fair, transparent, and effective. I will bring strong advocacy, build an effective team, and represent all of Tararua with focus and a real connection to its people.

My priorities
  1. Strengthen financial management by using every dollar wisely and cutting waste to keep rates affordable.
  2. Improve community engagement by listening, communicating clearly and rebuilding trust in council decisions.
  3. Deliver strong advocacy by representing Tararua boldly to secure funding, services and fair outcomes.
