Thames Community Board

The Thames Community Board represents your local community and advocates to Thames-Coromandel District Council about local issues, including public transport and facilities such as libraries and parks. The board is made up of four members. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper.   • Develop district-wide open public forums to engage the expertise, wisdom, knowledge and skill sets of the entire community to deliver needs.

    Facilitate public open forums every Wednesday night bringing forward and instigating the building of the wants, needs and demands of the people.

    Introduce laws exposing the wrongs, correcting and restructuring all policy while educating about the corruption right across the board.
