Thames-Coromandel District Council

South East General Ward

The Thames-Coromandel District Council provides local services and facilities, such as public transport, rubbish and recycling, libraries, parks, and recreation facilities. It also makes decisions about building and planning, local regulations, and infrastructure, such as water supply and sewerage. The council is made up of ten councillors and the mayor. Councillors are elected to represent wards (areas in the district). two councillors will be elected from the South East ward. This is a first past the post (FPP) election, so you vote by ticking the name of your preferred candidate on your ballot paper. I have been following our local district council for the past eight years and believe my skill set and understanding will enable me to drive the changes that are required.

My priorities

Empower community with the development of ward-based plans covering community priorities.
Implement sound fiscal policies to maintain costs in these times.
Develop the economy and stabilise community services such as health and care.
